Get to know Kenice: 20 Things you don’t know about me

For those of you who don’t know me in real life, I’m pretty much an open book. So much that this list was really difficult for me to come up with. I am a sucker for learning random facts about people, so I thought of this to give you a little insight on who I am, and the funny little things that make me Kenice. If you feel inclined you should leave some facts about yourself in the comments. I want to build a relationship with my readers and that includes getting to know each other, right!? So here I go, enjoy! 

• I am terrified of standstill heights. I don’t mind planes and roller coasters because they are moving fast, but if you put me at the top of a building I will freak all the way out! 

• When I can’t fall asleep I make up a continuing story that has been going on since college. I know that’s weird but its a really good story. I just pick back up from the last I remember before falling asleep; this has been going on for over 7 years. 

• I have a bin of socks that I just randomly pull from. For years I’ve NEVER matched my socks on purpose, but now I have to “adult” and match them every now and then. 

• I love to sing. I’ll sing almost anywhere – I don’t reserve my talents exclusively to the shower! (I’m that person next to you at the red light straight getting it with head bobbing and everything)

• My favorite holiday is Christmas! I would love to keep my tree and decorations up all year, but people would judge me lol

• I have 12 tattoos!

• Winter is my least favorite season. I despise the cold.

• When I was younger I was always the lead singer in the groups, I made my little sisters be the backup singers! (Oldest of 4 girls) 

• Justin Timberlake was my first real celebrity crush. I used to write Mrs.Timberlake on my papers in school. 

• My entire room was Spongebob themed back in my grade school days. Like my walls were BRIGHT YELLOW!

• I HATE being tickled! Like it infuriates me! Chirs loves to tickle me, knowing that it makes me mad! Typical husband lol  

• I scare super easily. Haunted houses, scary movies, weird noises, it’s almost guaranteed I’ll jump and scream and possibly even cry, I am a big chicken. 

• My life long dream has always been to be an event planner or fashion designer. I went to college for Fashion Design but never really pursued my career in that. I currently plan events on the side and I love it! Maybe one day I will combine them?! 

• My middle name is Marie, it is also my mom’s middle name and my daughter’s middle name. I hope Zuri keeps the tradition going.

• I tried out for America’s Next top model and made it to the 3rd round, that’s the one right before you go on T.V.

• My Myers-Briggs Personality Type is an ENFJ and I am a TRUE enneagram 7! I think personality tests are so interesting and I love seeing what they say about my personality as well as my family and friends.

• I love to dance! I am ALWAYS dancing. I dance in my seat at work, I dance in the shower, I dance any and EVERYWHERE! 

• I laugh at my own jokes, almost always. I am my own biggest fan! 

• I love food. I am always hungry or always thinking of food and planning my next meal. I sometimes plan my lunch while laying in bed as soon as my alarm clock goes off in the morning. 

• I have never been to Disney World. I secretly want to go first without my kids so that I can experience being a Disney Princess all alone. I probably won’t do that because I know they would have the best time ever, but going to Disney is on my list of things to do very soon!
